Consequently, to see the difference in my father is so delightful—he's so happy and content. Moreover, the weekly programme is fantastic—like being on a cruise ship! My sister and I visited Connell Court and immediately had a 'good feeling' about it. Afterwards, Mum was able to go for a few weeks’ respite and then made the decision to stay. For the last 8 months, she has been a resident, and the staff have been wonderful. They are very proactive, contacting the GP or relevant people as soon as they perceive a problem. Additionally, they keep me fully updated on everything happening with her care. Moreover, all the staff are very kind, caring, and respectful towards Mum. As a result, there is a full programme of activities for her to take part in or not, as she wishes. Furthermore, they have also held events involving family and friends—quiz evenings, afternoon tea, cheese and wine evenings. Finally, we have complete peace of mind that she is in a good place and being well looked after.
